Hello. I’m a visual artist and story system architect .
My primary interest lies in the visual construction of conceptual systems—how form, meaning, and structure interact across language, narrative, and image.
I studied comic languages at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, focusing on abstraction, narrative compression, and the intersection between visual storytelling and philosophical inquiry.
“白惟之” is my Chinese pseudonym. The character 惟 (wei) was given to me by my grandfather and means “only” and “think.” As a phrase, “白惟之” can be interpreted as “It is useless to think about it.”
“wrelsiui” is a pseudonym I created using fragments of winter-related words from lesser-used languages. It is a linguistic artifact—an invented construct within the alphabetic system. It echoes the same conceptual stance as “白惟之,” and shares its meaning in a different symbolic form.
My legal given name is Weichen (惟忱). The second character 忱 (chen) means “sincere feeling” or “passion.”Together, 惟忱 can be interpreted as “passionate thinking” or “the only passion”—a name that quietly contradicts and complements my chosen pseudonyms.
This site is currently under construction. A selection of my work can be found via the link in the lower left corner.
